River Guide Training School
River Gurus specialises in quality professional river guide training to the highest international standards.
We have designed a unique, intensive and comprehensive one month-long river guide training course, which will cover all the key elements of guiding and river running.
Our aim, mission and passion is to form professional river guides who will hold all the required qualifications and experience to be able to work as river guides anywhere in the world.
Hence why our school will be run by an international team of thoroughly experienced river professionals, with a ratio of one instructor to four students. We will allow a maximum of only twelve participants on the course.
Throughout the course, the students will obtain qualifications from different recognised international organisations (which include the WRF - World Rafting Federation - and Rescue 3, First aid training Cooperative), as well as gaining one month of practical experience running both low and high volume rivers.
On completing our river guide training, not only will our students have obtained all the required qualifications (and more!), but they will also boast a month of experience on five different rivers and will have covered all aspects of commercial and expedition rafting and river running.
